（十）开发地球的第六个时期
在上帝完成了开发地球的第五期工程后，地球上已经有植物，各种海洋生物，和各种鸟类。 这些生物的不断生长繁殖，为其他生物的到来准备好了充足的食物资源。 因而，上帝就着手准备向地球移植其他高级动物，并最终向地球大量移民。 这是上帝开发地球的最终目的，也是上帝开发地球的最后一个工程。现在让我们来看看上帝开发地球的最后一个工程的细节。
上帝说，地要生出活物来， 各从其类。牲畜，昆虫，野兽，各从其类。 事就这样成了（创1：24）。
于是，上帝造出野兽，各从其类。牲畜，各从其类。地上一切的昆虫，各从其类。上帝看着是好的（创1：25）。
上帝说，我们要照着我们的形象， 按着我们的样式造人，使他们管理海里的鱼，空中的鸟，地上的牲畜， 和全地，并地上所爬的一切昆虫 （创：1：26）。
上帝就照着自己的形象造人，乃是照着他的形象造男造女 （创：1：27）。
上帝就赐福给他们。 又对他们说：要生养众多， 遍满地面， 治理这地。 也要管理海里的鱼， 空中的鸟。 和地上各样行动的活物（创1：28）。
上帝说， 看哪， 我将遍地上一切结种子的菜蔬， 和一切树上所结有核的果子，全赐给你们作食物 （创：1：29）。
至于地上的走兽，和空中的飞鸟，并各样爬在地上有生命的物， 我将青草赐给他们作食物。 事就这样成了 （创：1：30）。
上帝看着一切所造的都甚好。有晚上，有早晨，是第六日 （创1：31）。

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

很明显，上帝开发地球的第六个阶段与现代人生活的时间较近，所以，其所描述的内容也比较容易理解。 在上帝已经将地球改造成为一个比较适应生物生存的环境后，在地球上已经有植物，鱼类等高等生物存在的情况下，上帝认为下一步应该向地球移植生物链上更为高级的生物。
在这种计划下， 上帝就逐步地向地球引进各种能够在陆地上生存的动物。在这些陆地生物中，首先是处于生物链低等次的动物， 然后是处于生物链高等次的生物，最后，当一切生物的生存都能顺利地得到满足后，才向地球真正地移民。
到此为止，上帝开发地球的任务已经完成。
